Thank you for taking the time to search for - and attempt to reconnect with - your old memories of RSWRP. Those random thoughts of "Yeah, that was fun, I wonder where the link goes now" keep the community alive in some form, and that is pretty wonderful.
Unfortunately RSWRP closed its doors for good in late 2018, with many community members becomming older and real-world commitments stopping developments. In its last days, RSWRP was still providing entertainment for a handful of members. Though RSWRP itself is unlikely to return, the head administrator has made efforts to resurrect the old website to provide you with enough information to relive your fondness of the past.
It may warm your heart to know that the in-character year of the galaxy is currently 1090 ABY - and yes, it is still updating every two weeks. Hopefully this helps you feel that the universe is still alive, and the galaxy's heart beats on with the creations of many like-minded people even after they have all gone.
I highly encourage you to visit the RSWRP Timeline, which is a summary of each era that the community had.
