A long time ago... //

Retro Star Wars Roleplay (RSWRP) was a collective of Star Wars advocates who came together from around the world and founded a community of role-players in the mid-to-late summer of 2009. Using Habbo Hotel Retros as a client for interaction, RSWRP has thrived for nearly a decade with the help of the loyal community and new and original characters that have kept the galaxy's lore alive and prospering.

Originally starting based two-hundred-and-fifty years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, and using the documentation of Star Wars: Legends, an alternate reality and universe was formed to facilitate the birth, life, and achievements of new characters, factions, and entities which have inspired creativity amongst role-players and, more importantly, given them a creative and entertaining outlet during their personal time.

Focusing on interesting story arcs and expanding upon every aspect of the Star Wars universe that people love, the staff team of RSWRP work very hard (along with the help of some Blue Milk) to create a rich and immersive Star Wars galaxy for others to be apart of. Whether you are looking to study the powers of the Force as a Jedi Knight or Sith Lord, want to capture scum and claim bounties as a bounty hunter, engage in epic close-quarter starship escapes as a Smuggler, or are even looking for a more militarised and political approach to the powerhouses of the Galaxy, then RSWRP will do its absolute up most to help you explore your creativity and shape your path in your own design.

RSWRP truly is community-based, allowing users to push for rules and changes within the galaxy and help decide the course of the future of the roleplay, and a warm and humble thank you is offered to all of the members of this community that have kept it alive for so many years. With each step RSWRP grew to be not just a roleplay, but a home of creative minds working together to form something special and helped displace the often disheartening real world from their life - even if only for an hour or two a day.

Unfortunately RSWRP closed its doors for good in late 2018, with many community members becomming older and real-world commitments stopping developments.

May the Force be with you, always.
